Unfortunately that step back took Sephiroth right into someone making their way behind him to another part of the deck.

"Watch where you're going!" came a snappish voice from behind Sephiroth.

A boy wrapped in the black robes of a mage and looking no older than his mid teens had stumbled back a couple paces and was now glaring up at the much taller Sephiroth. Soren's bright red eyes blazed with ire, and it was quite apparent that despite their difference in stature and that undoubtedly even as a level 1 fighter he could probably annihilate the boy in one or two well placed hits.
