If you had to choose between your ideals and your ambitions, which would you choose to cling to?

The two are inevitably intertwined. My ambition is for my people to live in an era of peace and prosperity, free of the war and death that have plagued us for decades. My ideals dictate that such an era be achieved through diplomacy and cooperation.

Naivete has little to do with it. 'Tis violent acts which I abhor; duplicity is often the backbone of political diplomacy.
