What exactly does a Goddess do, in your World?

The Goddess is charged with protecting the people and the realm. She can bind the darkness and stop it from spreading. She is only ever awoken when the realm is threatened by this dark evil.

She also uses her powers to guide the chosen hero in his quest.

I wonder if that's related in some way. It's too close a coincidence otherwise I think. I do wonder who would be your chosen hero though.

I would think it would be obvious..

I mean, the chosen hero from my world is here with me now. He is a great hero, even if he can't always see it in himself but I don't think that a world only needs one hero. Anyone can be a hero.

At first I didn't like it, I had learned so much in such a short time and was thrust into a destiny that I had no control over. I've done things that I'm not proud of but.. without the presence of the goddess our world would be lost.

I can't let that happen.

It was sudden and a little unexpected but it is something that I choose to do. I could easily run from my destiny but the truth is I don't want to. Its hard sometimes but I'm happy.
