"I'm tellin' ya, these things are just as much trouble as they look." After each of Vincent's shots, Mordecai--or "Barkeep", as he constantly insisted they call him--held his staff like a rifle, which would then turn into an identical gun and repeat the previous attack. The Illusionist Job was far too complicated than it should be, but it got the job done.
"You know," he said and leaned on the staff. "If I still had the Force Galactic within me, we'd be rid of these goblins the second we spotted them. Just one thought, and that's it. Though, instead of killin' 'em, I'd probably just send 'em over to the Empire and bring trouble over there."
Without a second attacker, another goblin was slowly makings its way closer to the party. Barkeep gave it no mind.
"Don't know why--or even how--they took it away from me. Must be one of those cosmic energy beings livin' 'round these parts. Probably took my powers away for fear that I'd misuse them."
