Character: [OU] Meredy (+ Quickie!)
Canon: Tales of Eternia
Info: An energetic and enthusiastic girl who often gets mistaken as younger than she actually is because of this... Meredy has a bit of a strange way of speaking, even though she doesn't think so!
Job(s): Bard + Black Mage
Housing: B-10 AKA Optimism Central
Moogle: Craymog, who originated in the Research Centre. Craymog is a bit of a stickler, can sometimes be rude, and fancies himself something of a scholar due to the time he spent in the centre.
Status: Recovering from the Doppleganger event... It would be wonderful if anyone that was part of Group D, or anyone who interacted with Shizel perhaps noted the similarities between them...! (Dark skin, some sort of coloured crystal on their foreheads...)
Employment: N/A, but may seek something in the future!
Plans: If she were to find out that there's a Dancer class out there, Meredy would absolutely love getting involved in getting closer to that! Meredy loves dancing... on tables... occasionally... She has also volunteered to be part of Cid's project for the repair of the Enterprise, believe it or not she's actually an Engineer and a once-otherworldly pilot! (And conductor???)
Desired CR: TALES OF CR, but in truth I love all the CR! It's easy to imagine Meredy getting on peoples nerves with her... eccentricities, but she really is very friendly. While she can be naive and trusting as well, she has no problem with calling people out on rude behaviour. Don't worry, she'll forgive you for it later though... probably.
Undesired Things: N/A, Meredy bounces back from just about anything, COME AT US.
Shipping: Entirely possible, but build up would be necessary! Scholarly types line up at the door, please! Jk jk... haha!

Hey, fellow Group D person!

Doug isn't too willing to talk about the events that went down, but he might be able to put two and two together with Meredy (likewise vice versa maybe, if Meredy/Shizel witnessed "who" killed off Venti).

He's pretty nice to kids, though. Or at least he'd mistake Meredy for one. In fact, he probably wouldn't mind parting with the Dancer Ring he's got if they become friends, and should the Dancer job become available. He's also helping out with repairs for the Enterprise, so they could perhaps run into each other there. What do you say?

Oooooh I like the sound of this! It definitely doesn't have to be an all out HEY ARENT YOU THE ONE WHO... etc etc, but rather something we could build up to, instead! I'm down for Meredy taking note of the final blow deliverer for poor old Venti... So recognizing Doug can be a thing! (even if she keeps it to herself at first, at least until there's a little more CR built up!) Meredy isn't too keen being entirely honest about the whole thing just yet either, since she's kind of sad about Ma's actions...

Totally down for them running into one another on the whole enterprise project thing too, or else sending her to the item shop as well for them to have more excuses to run into one another? And tbh she would be fascinated / excited about anything Dancer related!! (also that would be horrendously cute...)

Definitely keep it to themselves, yep. It's like that one moment where you sort of recognize each other but don't want to admit anything. Awkward.

Either would work, though she might need to kick him awake first if at the shop! Slow days are the worst. In any case, that is a horrendously cute idea and I like it all the more now. c: Doug isn't especially interested in the Dancer job, so he'd just be happy to see it in the hands of someone who'd put it to good use.

SO FUNNY STORY, totally forgot about the heroes meeting that's going to happen later this week! That could be an opportunity for them to run into one another, or maybe good for an initial bump-into sort of thing if you were planning on sending Doug there??

Oh man, I totally forgot about that too - I'd totally be up for that. He's a pretty social guy, and he'd be keeping tabs on anything he'd think is worth his attention. Like potentially important meetings. (And regular meet-ups that come with free food. That's important too.) Let's do this!
