Regarding the support Seph is going to need -- Jade is definitely not going to coddle him, but he does know what it's like crossing the line into doing bad things, and thanks to canon events he has a very "screw destiny" mentality about it.

Basically, he's going to hold Seph accountable if he turns evil, but also support him if he decides to fight it. It's all about free will and personal responsibility with him.

"Screw destiny" sounds like it would be some pretty sound advise right about now - point of fact. Sephiroth being Sephiroth will otherwise spend the rest of his time in Crystallis looking over his shoulder and thinking about longer-term consequences for anything he says or does for anyone and that's not healthy. At all.

Should I ever take the dive into Evil!Sephiroth, he'd gladly be accountable and proud of it. The trick is getting Sephiroth for the now back into being badass.
