1/ Welcome to the world of Crystallis!
You have seen reality shatter and collapse around you, in the depths of the void you found a Crystal and now you are in the city of Aqures Ixen, surrounded by Moogles and people as lost and confused as you are. On the bright side, everyone thinks you're a hero! On the downside, they expect you to save the world. Maybe their expectations are a bit too much. Thankfully, you're not abandoned to your fate as a Moogle explains to you everything you need to know. Maybe it's time to get to know your companions in misfortune. Besides, it seems this has occurred past month already-- Maybe some people who have been here for longer than you may help.
2/ Do you like your new life?
No? Well, either way, you better get used to it, to your new powers, to your new house, to the ball of fur that follows your every steps—Who knows, maybe you'll even make some friends here. Besides, even if everyone expects you to save the world, fighting isn't the only way to do so. Maybe you could open a shop to help and properly equip your friends who are actually eager to fight. Maybe you could try and gather people who think diplomacy can stop war, you could even start your own researches on the Crystals— Or you could make sure your house is the prettiest in all of Aqures Ixen. Anything is possible.
3/ Neighborhood woes
The government of Aqures Ixen is very sorry, but it seems there are too many of you Heroes of Light. Hence why there is no free houses left in district dedicated to housing you. This may also be why you're not alone in the house that was given to you. Hopefully you're not living with a mad villain plotting to take over the world late at night, and hopefully your neighbor isn't a singer who doesn't know how to sing. On the bright side, you may have someone very cool living with you and an artist next door! It's just not likely.
4/ Crystallis de Chocobo
Upon arrival, your Moogle gave you a map of Crystallis. This world may be a bit big for you to explore, so why not go to the Chocobo Farm and ask for a Chocobo? These big birds can't fly, but they're much more efficient than horses when it comes to travelling. Maybe it's your first time riding a Chocobo; it might be a good idea to have someone with you in case something goes wrong. Or maybe the old man at the farm didn't have any Chocobos left and gave you some Chocobo Lure© so you can go and capture your own. You can find details on Chocobo Capture here.
5/ A thing called Mognet
Hopefully you weren't used to Internet and cellphones back home. Otherwise, you might be a tiny bit confused when your Moogle returns to you with a stack of letters. Or maybe someone else's Moogle is coming to you with a voice message it learnt by heart and is now going to recite to you with a lot of Kupo. That's how the "network" works here.
6/ A thing called Strike
In spite of how old-fashioned it is, Mognet is very useful and odds are that you may have become dependent on it. Hopefully not, because one local tradition seems to be Mognet Strikes. Nobody knows any more whether the Moogles have legitimate reasons to go on strike or if they are just lazy. But today, Mognet is down, and to get information you have no choice but going to the public board in the third district or in taverns.
7/ I believe I can fly~
You are on an Airship! Airships regularly depart from Aqures Ixen and stop by most major cities in the world, so they're the perfect means of transportation for you to go and explore this world. You can go anywhere in a matter of hours — One can only hope you don’t have motion sickness.
8/ Exploration
Enough expository banter. Now is the time to explore. Maybe rather than spending most of your time in Aqures Ixen, you'd rather spend it living in Balicea, or betting on Chocobo Races in Trano Golsaucia. Or maybe you'd rather go and explore some ancient ruins that may hold some precious information. With Airships and Chocobos at your disposal, you can go nearly anywhere that isn't under imperial control; unless you have a death wish of course.
9/ Random Encounter
You were minding your own business walking around, and suddenly monsters attacked you! Time to put to use the skills you've learned with your Jobs! Alternatively, maybe this encounter isn't random at all, and you have been sent on a mission to kick some imperial asses in the war confronting the Heran Empire and the Republic of Esdham. Good luck!
10/ Getting Jobs is hard
It all started when you asked Jessie to give you a new Job. What could and should have been a formality, quickly turned into a trial. All you wanted was a Job, and here you are in the wild, hunting for a Malboro Vine. Or maybe you are in some ancient and decrepit ruins looking for an artifact. Or yet again, maybe she simply asked you to assist her in her researches on the Crystals. Getting new Jobs is not easy. Consider yourself happy though, at least you don't have to do that alone.
11/ The world is subject to unrelenting pain and suffering…
This is why you should play a game. After all, there are things a lot more important than saving the world: Blitzball is one of them. Triple Triad is another. Why don't you take a break and do something different for once; anyone wanting to play Blitzball is given a special potion allowing them to breath underwater, whereas someone who wants to play Triple Triad should have no difficulties finding veterans more than happy to get rid of their low level cards.
12/ Events of the Past
Missed an event you would have liked to participate in? The Test Drive Meme is the perfect place to play this event without being restricted by the game's chronology! Maybe you would have liked to capture a Chocobo during Crystalis de Chocobo, maybe you would have liked to be lost and attacked from all sides in the creepy Magitek Research Facility, or maybe you'd like to celebrate the Christmas of Crystallis. Yet again, maybe you would have liked to regain your true power and subsequently be on your path to death, as in The Night of the Thirteen Moogles. Or how about participating in Christmas at Crystallis or fighting in a war for the warriors among you?

"Oh, you know..." he began. "Just quietly sitting at home, taking a nap, then all of a sudden here I am in some weird clothes with a flying rat telling me I'm a hero."
Said "flying rat" puffed his cheek out, flailing his little arms.
"Kupo! You don't have to be sho mean!"
Adachi stopped dead at that, looking like he was just a blood clot away from having a stroke. He did not just hear that. Not that, not the god awful puns... he thought he escaped those! Slowly, he turned toward his moogle, the look on his face gravely serious.
"Never. Do that. Again."

"Ah, so you're more the type who likes to lead a quiet life?"
Well, that wasn't anything too bad, perhaps nothing for Jaeha, but if that was his choice, why not? He also could just have a normal quiet life up until that point. The way Adachi interacts with his Moogle caused Jaeha to snort.
"Did it freak you out that much?" Jaeha scratched the back of his head a little before he shrugged one more time. "Though if those things keep following us around like that, it'll be pretty annoying."
Jaeha disliked being followed around. He much preferred to be a puruser instead of being the pursued one.

He let out a faint laugh at that question. "Well, as quiet as life can get anyway..."
Really, he'd been spending most of his time in lockup sleeping when he wasn't getting dragged off to speak with interrogators and shrinks. He'd been hoping they'd get tired of dealing with him and throw away the key already; enough with trying to prove he was crazy, or whatever else they were trying to do.
After a moment, he just let out a sigh.
"Well, can't say I'm exactly used to popping up into random worlds. Kinda took me by surprise."
He wasn't even going to address the moogle and who it reminded him off. He was in no mood to deal with that can of worms.

Talking about that, he wondered about it slightly what kind of life that was. Of course he had his moments, when he finally thought he had been somewhat safe, even when he had been fighting against the government officials.
"Haha, yeah, I gotta admit that's a first for me as well. I could also use some entertainment."
If he was already stuck in this world, might as well find some places he could enjoy. He gave Adachi a friendly pat on his back.

One could hang out with someone for a lot of different reasons as well. The thing Adachi said did catch his interest, though, because why would someone say that about themselves?

Not that he was feeling this right now, but Adachi's reaction was eerily similar to one of those he had that kind of feelings for - and that caused him to go automatically a little into hunter mode.
"Ah~, it's not like that. Fate brought us here together, might as well enjoy it."
Was he being ambiguous unintentionally or on purpose? One could never tell with Jaeha.

Adachi took a bigger step back that time; wait, he didn't think that was what he meant?! Why was he following through with it? Why, what, no; he is not into that.

It was amusing, how that Moogle was on his side. Anyways, he follows Adachi's step to sling an arm around his neck.
"I'm sure you would enjoy the company of ladies as well."
Since really, he just wanted to search for the red light district. He enjoyed going with someone else as well, but the current group he hung out with were really either too strict with themselves or just too pure. This guy at least seemed to be around his age.

At least not just for fun. The last time he had been with the others was when they went there undercover and that wasn't quite the same. Granted, the red light district tended to be a place for information, even if you just go there for fun. Thankfully, this guy didn't seem to be disinterested, what was more than he could say about the other men of his group.

Adachi cut himself off; he had been reaching up to adjust his tie, but of course it wasn't there anymore. Took away his tie in favor of these crappy clothes, way to beat a man while he's down. Nothing better happen to that thing...
He shrugged, letting his hands drop.

They had, back in Awa, but that didn't mean the places here were like that. Oh well, they just had to test the waters. He tapped with his right foot against th ground - yep, his leg really didn't have the power it usually possessed. Otherwise, they could have explored this place a lot faster.
"Guess we'll just have to try our like. By the way, my name is Jaeha. How about you?"

...kind of; really, some "nice" habits were hard to break. His little moogle hovered up by him, bobbing his head, along with his ridiculously bright red pompom.
