Character: [OU] Lydia Deetz
Canon: Beetlejuice (Cartoon verse)
Info: Lydia's your resident 14 yr old perky goth girl who's pretty friendly. She's self-described as 'strange and unusual' but don't let that put you off. :)
Job(s): 7 Month Vampire/Scholar, none in reserve yet.
Housing: B 13
Moogle: Betel-Po, aka BP. He's got stripes dyed in his fur, which is kind of shaggy. He's a bit loud and obnoxious, with a prankster streak to match Lydia's. But he takes her health/well-being seriously, and is basically a good moogle.
Status: Lyds isn't a fighter, and she knows it. (Even though she's been learning to defend herself from Olivier Armstrong, with Yuffie and Kenshin--before he went into stasis--helping her learn to dodge.) She's likely helping with the evacuation plans and gone to Trano Golsaucia, on advice. Better they have a strategist/thinker and people person outside of Aquares Ixen should things go wrong.

She's in over her head being a Hero, but she's game to try anyways. Lydia has always gotten by with help from friends, so make friends she has. She's an idea person and a people-person, so trying to use her strengths to advantage. She is only 14 though, and prone to some dramatics.

Employment: Currently she's helping out at MarKus's shop to pay off the bicycle he built for her. She's also in school. She might be trying to get a job at Henry's occult shop, because OMG why not!?!? That is so her kind of thing.
Plans: Lydia's helping with evacuation of civilians, and probably gonna be one of the last heroes to go--but she is going. She is a civvie through and through, for all she's had adventures. War is scary, and she is listening to good advice from those who know. Better the heroes outside of AI have some companions, should things go wrong. She's a strategist and thinker.

On the non-event side, she's sad and worried for those in Crystal-stasis (including Kenshin, who was like a big brother to her), but trying to stay focused when there are bigger things going on. She's often seen bicycling around the streets on errands or between school and home/etc. There are larger plans in the future for potential victorian-style tea party. I'm open for plots with her and who knows what, as she's pretty versatile.


Desired CR: Any/All. She's pretty friendly and it's hard to get on her bad side.
Undesired Things: Severe trauma/pain/hurt/death. Feel free to poke me if you have ideas though. I just like to 'measure' my angst, so it doesn't overwhelm me into RL (which is stressful enough sometimes).
Shipping: Friend-shipping? Sure. Romantic shipping? Crushes are a go, but I don't know if she'd be up for anything serious without lots of development. Again, she's 14!
Additional Comment: I try to be a quick tagger, but it is not always possible. RL sometimes bogs me down and makes it harder for me to escape into RP and let go. Feel free to poke me though; I don't bite really.

/I've yet to put up my own CR meme but here goes-

I love the letters-CR that Sephiroth has with Lydia even though he doesn't write a lot compared to her! He will be very keen to make sure the Lydia does get out of Aqures before the hammer comes down (since out of his own CR/people to be protected most of them don't want to leave and that irks him)

Post-Aqures, regardless of what happens I'd like to effectively tag Lyds as one of those to be some support in the near future? Only as Genesis has just gone into stasis so essentially both his once-friends have (yet again) abandoned him; he's going to remain ignorant of that until later since leading an army is stressful/a lot of work.

Just as well, considering all the -cough- other issues which haven't quite settled right after his own return from stasis.

Oh she is more than happy to be his pen-pal/friend. It'll cause friction with Yuffie, but Lydia's also used to being the peacemaker. (Her view is staunchly "you guys don't have to be friends, but you are both myfriends" type of thing).

Lydia would be happy to be a support. She's entirely normal, and from a relatively normal life, so don't know how well she'd do, but she's friendly and fairly well adjusted all things considered. ^_^

I'm thinking perhaps her normality will help to ground him a little...because Sephiroth is used to being anything-but-normal but is now stuck in a normal-state of being for the most part?

:) define 'normal'. But yes, she's had a very very very different life than what he's had, and she's accepting/gets along with all kinds of strange and unusual beings. :) Does he wanna learn how to ride a bicycle and go bike-riding with her? She might also drag him exploring ;)

Exploring wouldn't be too hard to drag him on, but good luck getting him to ride a bike lol. He has a perfectly good chocobo that he never even sees let alone rides ;_;

Ales thinks she's kind of cool, and that goth getup is awesome. He secretly has a taste for the "dark and mysterious" aesthetic. I don't know if he cares about her enough to tell her to leave, but we can see about that.

...He thinks that bicycle is pretty awesome. Let him go on a tangent about how he could invent something that's inspired by the pedal mechanism.

I'd definitely be up for more with Ales. Lydia isn't fazed by unusual appearances either, as he found out. :) He can probably catch her around town before she leaves. :)

Character: [OU] Vincent Valentine
Canon: Final Fantasy 7 (main game, not compilation yet)
Info: Vincent is tall, dark, stoic, and kind of creepy. He's got a tragic backstory to aid all of that, and history with other FF7 characters. Don't let the cool demeanor and slightly spooky attire fool you, he really is a good guy basically.
Job(s): Gunner (2 months)/Ninja (initial) with Red Mage (2 months) and Freelancer (2 months) in reserve.
Housing: A 02
Moogle: Ophelia, a young adult moogle with a long crimson scarf. Ophelia's kind of a dreamer, fairly social, and loves being a companion to a Hero of Light. At least the one she got assigned. She likes some of the more dark and unusual things on Crystallis, just as much as the shiny and bright.
Status: Vincent is finding the job-system frustrating, considering he's having to relearn skills he mastered. Being fully 'human' once more and not having the effects of Hojo's experiments lingering in him has also taken some getting used to, in a good way mostly. He's adapting fairly well all things considered. Low on funds, worried about his ammo-conservation as gunner, but managing alright at the moment.
Employment: Eventually he'll get a job, as he's low on funds. (Ophelia lent him extra money in exchange for him reading to her regularly. She is a crafty moogle.)
Plans: Right now Vinny's at loose ends, although likely to be participating in the event wherever might be best useful for him. He participated most recently in the Sub-theft with Olivier, Kidd, Ashelia, MarKus, and Yuffie. He's also been hunting monsters to get used to his 'jobs'.
Desired CR: I'm open to most anything, although he's not much of a talker. Don't expect a lot of conversation from him unless there's a reason or he's got something to say. Despite this, he's fairly wordy when he needs to be.
Undesired Things: Major trauma: as always, feel free to plot with me. This guy's had enough bad things happen though, so I'd like to keep it to a minimum for new stuff. He's got more than enough guilt he already carries with him.
Shipping: Sure? Probably more Het, and you're gonna have to get him past Lucrecia's ghost (good luck with that). Definitely requires time/CR/Development.
Additional Comment: I still really don't bite, so feel free to approach me. :) If I'm busy, I will tell people, as I do get bogged down in RL with stuff sometimes and can't devote time to escapism RP.

As mentioned in Ami's thread; Vincent may well come to replace Genesis in the 'understanding Sephiroth' position I think. Only as other castmate CR is either female or Cloud so it's not really all that workable imho.

I think we spoke a little about it on Plurk before, but I'd really like for their joint-with-Terra CR to somehow assist the two of them with figuring out how they really feel about each other - perhaps giving it a gentle nudge along/honest advise?

Vincent is happy to, as he's actually rather pleased to see the 'man' not the monster. Plus it's the least he can do for Lucrecia, as to keep an eye on her son. I'm more than happy to be part of the joint with Terra too.

Vincent doesn't want others to repeat his mistakes if possible. ^_^

Sephiroth wouldn't say so (just yet) but he'd be very grateful for Vincent treating him like a person rather than the 'similar-to-a-bomb-ready-to-explode-any-day' treatment that he can't help but perceive through Tifa and Yuffie no matter how the former's point of view may be starting to change.

Not to mention Aerith but the CR hasn't got off the ground yet...I'm not sure how well he'll deal with living with the girl he comes to kill later for getting in his way/larger revenge for his Mother. Especially now he's just lost the one person he could have talked to about stuff but never did due to his own pride.

And yessssss, I love this idea of Vincent-helping-Sephiroth-to-be-happy partly as a way to make it up to Lu and partly to prevent another going through his pain.

Yuffie'd likely take time, given her history with him and Wutai. ^_^ Vincent is more of the 'I'll watch and if you start acting like the monster, then I'll treat you like one' type :)

I most definitely want CR between these two, not least b/c of all the potential but because I also enjoy playing with/off you Amie.

That's a fact- this was established very early on when he tried to get her to understand why he didn't feel any regret over Wutai and of course THAT WENT WELL! orz.

If Barkeep runs into Vincint during the event, he'll provide more than enough conversation for the two of them. I loved our test drive thread, and having more of that while fighting off imperial troops would be hilarious.

That said, he's always free to brood in the saloon.

I LOVED the test drive thread, no lies. :) I'd be happy to have more interactions between them, and might hit up the saloon after things. I've been truly pleased/surprised by how much Vincent IS getting CR/around. I'm like o.O? he's not even that social! ^-^
