Info: A sixteen-year old chocobo-lover that's a part of an elite group of students that trains to become Agito and save the world. Or something. Eats wars for breakfast, smart and courageous, but at the same time slightly unaccustomed to the ways of life beyond the academy. Overall, a friendly type of person, but it takes him some time to get to know people.
Job(s): Gambler/Chocobo Knight, both at initial level, definitely planning to get a Bard for him in the future, because of all those cute songs to learn.
Housing: C-01 with Minako and Guy!
Moogle: Hanafuda is a lively moogle that's kind of a beginner in this whole guiding thing. Personality-wise, she acts as sort of a counterbalance to the collected nature of Ace, though she respects his boundaries and always wants to make the best impression. Loves flowers and nature!
Status: Ace finds Crystallis very similar to Orience in many ways, but he can't quite figure out why the Crystal would seek him out considering the events that took place in his canon. He slowly grows accepting of his new powers, the fact that his magic prowess has been sacrificed in favour of versatility only pushes him forward to get some extra training. In a way, a Hero of Light is similar to l'Cie, though the former thankfully involves less painful implications. There's certainly some longing in here, and while he didn't expect that he would miss Mother and his comrades as much as he does, he's driven by a hope that they'll see each other again.
Employment: Not yet! He would lean towards joining the military because that's all he knows, but along the way he might yet grow to appreciate the calmer jobs. Like taking care of certain feathered creatures.
Plans: He'll be participating in the defence for sure, but I still have to figure out to what extent. As of now he's too weak to partake in regular battles, but I'm willing to throw him into something less job-dependant. Perhaps information gathering, playing a decoy, assisting in placing traps and such. He'll also immediately rush to a citizen's rescue if he spots one, but he'd prefer to be an active participant due to the training received.

After the war, I have this tiny wish of having other people teach him songs, or maybe they could also sing together? He's often seen humming and singing in his canon, except he only ever learns like...four...lines....in...total? What the heck, dude.
Desired CR: I love both positive and negative CR! The former is more likely seeing as he's a patient person, but give him a reason to be angry and he'll roar.
Undesired Things: The only thing I can think about is that I'd like to keep him away from major injuries right now, anything else goes!
Shipping: It's too early to think about it, and I never plan these things in advance, really. If something happens, it happens. o/
Additional Comment: I'll be going on a family trip once the Empire plot kicks in, but I will still try my best at answering tags regularly. Also...!

OMG I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!

Sorry for all caps there lol. So he's looking for something to do right? They need Hackers for the Ultima weapon plan. Everyone just got those jobs so they are all at the same level which means he'd be up to par with everyone else! The more people they get the faster the job will become! It would be a great way to help and I know that Zelda would suggest it to him if he doesn't think of it himself because she had been talking to Jessie about that plan and shes worried what will happen if they can't hack it and the Ultima weapon starts targeting EVERYONE in the city lol.

I dont know if that helps but it might be cool to look into plot wise <3

Other than that i'm super excited for Terra and Zelda's CR with Ace. Terra will soon become a little awkward cuz after talking about flowers she might run out of conversational topics at which time Tempest will jump in again. She isn't very social and still dealing with a far amount of things. Zelda's being helpful and that will never change. If they get close she might even start mothering him like she has a few of the other heroes lol.

Let me know if there is anything specific you wanna do or if you like these ideas. I have Yuffie working on the Ultima weapon so he'd be able to meet that muse too :p

DOES IT HELP? DOES IT HELP?! Not only it helps me immensely, but also makes me realise how dumb I am, because this is probably the most reasonable option that has been there in front of me all this time. See, I knew about the new jobs, but then disregarded them because hacker isn't exactly his style, HOWEVER he also has all the reason to think that the Ultima Weapon presents the biggest risk out there, I just didn't connect the dots... Oh my gosh. You save my life here. <3

I'll probably still briefly talk to Zelda (if that's okay), to get an excuse to walk into the UW meeting that's already started; it'd be kind of ooc for him to be late otherwise, and we have to compensate for his player's stupidity here... GOSH.

Me too, absolutely! I love how although both of them have gained his trust, the two encounters feel completely different. He feels more at ease with Terra, but that's because Zelda has an air of a leader around her, so it requires him to act accordingly, in a more guarded manner.

I'm all up for him meeting Yuffie! The rest kinda depends on the outcome of the war, but like I said in my post, he doesn't shy away from singing, which might be a reason to jump into Yuna in the future! Let's take it slow, though, for me it's still about managing one character, sorting out the CR with the same character for four of them seems to be more tough of a task. |D That said, I'm really enjoying what we have so far!

And that's fine! Anything to help and Zelda's always helpful. It's my favorite part of playing her to be honest.

And yeah. Whatever you wanna do. :3 This is my main game and I'm happy to take time with all the CR. I try not to over load people so let me know what you wanna do :3 it all depends on how things go for the war.

Ok I feel obligated to point you towards the links in here if you're stuck only as quite a lot of people put a lot of ideas in there and some of it does fall into what you've said in the above for Ace! It might help, it might not!!

With regard to joining-the-military-as-it's-all-he-knows, welcome to Sephiroth's life. That said, one might argue it's paid off now that he's Major and commanding an army. I'd love maybe to have some CR in that general-similarity direction perhaps? I do intend to put a top-level on the NPC meeting post so hit me there if you like (or I'll hit you; idek who has posted there yet!)

For now, I've decided to throw him into the UW plot as it seems less heavy on past jobs (though he ends up supporting the hackers rather than doing the actual job anyway, so it might go interesting ways), but if I got that right, it still kinda falls under the military side of things!

Awwyeah, I agree! It's unlikely that Ace will try and pursue the same path considering the point he currently finds himself at, but his training remains a huge part of him. I'm always up for slightly unusual CR, so I'll be looking forward to it! I also miiiight take a look at that post, since Ace would undoubtedly use the opportunity to memorize some important faces.

The UW plot is really Jessie's plan so not really on the military agenda but hopefully Sephiroth will have some troops spare he can send to cover them while the hacking is going on.

Oh, that would actually be helpful! The general outcome of the meeting is that they are severely lacking in the defense department, should they get some support I would probably make him one of the hackers instead.
