— Most importantly, have fun!
1/ Welcome to the world of Crystallis!
You have seen reality shatter and collapse around you, in the depths of the void you found a Crystal and now you are in the city of Aqures Ixen, surrounded by Moogles and people as lost and confused as you are. On the bright side, everyone thinks you're a hero! On the downside, they expect you to save the world. Maybe their expectations are a bit too much. Thankfully, you're not abandoned to your fate as a Moogle explains to you everything you need to know. Maybe it's time to get to know your companions in misfortune. Besides, it seems this has occurred past month already-- Maybe some people who have been here for longer than you may help.
2/ Do you like your new life?
No? Well, either way, you better get used to it, to your new powers, to your new house, to the ball of fur that follows your every steps—Who knows, maybe you'll even make some friends here. Besides, even if everyone expects you to save the world, fighting isn't the only way to do so. Maybe you could open a shop to help and properly equip your friends who are actually eager to fight. Maybe you could try and gather people who think diplomacy can stop war, you could even start your own researches on the Crystals— Or you could make sure your house is the prettiest in all of Aqures Ixen. Anything is possible.
3/ Neighborhood woes
The government of Aqures Ixen is very sorry, but it seems there are too many of you Heroes of Light. Hence why there is no free houses left in district dedicated to housing you. This may also be why you're not alone in the house that was given to you. Hopefully you're not living with a mad villain plotting to take over the world late at night, and hopefully your neighbor isn't a singer who doesn't know how to sing. On the bright side, you may have someone very cool living with you and an artist next door! It's just not likely.
4/ Crystallis de Chocobo
Upon arrival, your Moogle gave you a map of Crystallis. This world may be a bit big for you to explore, so why not go to the Chocobo Farm and ask for a Chocobo? These big birds can't fly, but they're much more efficient than horses when it comes to travelling. Maybe it's your first time riding a Chocobo; it might be a good idea to have someone with you in case something goes wrong. Or maybe the old man at the farm didn't have any Chocobos left and gave you some Chocobo Lure© so you can go and capture your own. You can find details on Chocobo Capture here.
5/ A thing called Mognet
Hopefully you weren't used to Internet and cellphones back home. Otherwise, you might be a tiny bit confused when your Moogle returns to you with a stack of letters. Or maybe someone else's Moogle is coming to you with a voice message it learnt by heart and is now going to recite to you with a lot of Kupo. That's how the "network" works here.
6/ A thing called Strike
In spite of how old-fashioned it is, Mognet is very useful and odds are that you may have become dependent on it. Hopefully not, because one local tradition seems to be Mognet Strikes. Nobody knows any more whether the Moogles have legitimate reasons to go on strike or if they are just lazy. But today, Mognet is down, and to get information you have no choice but going to the public board in the third district or in taverns.
7/ I believe I can fly~
You are on an Airship! Airships regularly depart from Aqures Ixen and stop by most major cities in the world, so they're the perfect means of transportation for you to go and explore this world. You can go anywhere in a matter of hours — One can only hope you don’t have motion sickness.
8/ Exploration
Enough expository banter. Now is the time to explore. Maybe rather than spending most of your time in Aqures Ixen, you'd rather spend it living in Balicea, or betting on Chocobo Races in Trano Golsaucia. Or maybe you'd rather go and explore some ancient ruins that may hold some precious information. With Airships and Chocobos at your disposal, you can go nearly anywhere that isn't under imperial control; unless you have a death wish of course.
9/ Random Encounter
You were minding your own business walking around, and suddenly monsters attacked you! Time to put to use the skills you've learned with your Jobs! Alternatively, maybe this encounter isn't random at all, and you have been sent on a mission to kick some imperial asses in the war confronting the Heran Empire and the Republic of Esdham. Good luck!
10/ Getting Jobs is hard
It all started when you asked Cid to give you a new Job. What could and should have been a formality, quickly turned into a trial. All you wanted was a Job, and here you are in the wild, hunting for a Malboro Vine. Or maybe you are in some ancient and decrepit ruins looking for an artifact. Or yet again, maybe she simply asked you to assist her in her researches on the Crystals. Getting new Jobs is not easy. Consider yourself happy though, at least you don't have to do that alone.
11/ The world is subject to unrelenting pain and suffering…
This is why you should play a game. After all, there are things a lot more important than saving the world: Blitzball is one of them. Triple Triad is another. Why don't you take a break and do something different for once; anyone wanting to play Blitzball is given a special potion allowing them to breath underwater, whereas someone who wants to play Triple Triad should have no difficulties finding veterans more than happy to get rid of their low level cards.
12/ Events of the Past
Missed an event you would have liked to participate in? The Test Drive Meme is the perfect place to play this event without being restricted by the game's chronology! Maybe you would have liked to capture a Chocobo during Crystalis de Chocobo, maybe you would have liked to be lost and attacked from all sides in the creepy Magitek Research Facility, or maybe you'd like to celebrate the Christmas of Crystallis. Yet again, maybe you would have liked to regain your true power and subsequently be on your path to death, as in The Night of the Thirteen Moogles. Or how about participating in Christmas at Crystallis or fighting in a war for the warriors among you?
13/ Wild Card
Don't like the options offered here? Go crazy and choose what you want to do in this world!

Kyoko was mid battle when she was pulled into Crystallis, clenching her weapon tight as the world shattered around her. Had there been two witches within the labyrinth? She's instantly back on her feet -- circling with her lance held out defensively. Looking quickly around herself to gain her bearings. The place was strange - yet the not the strange she was used to. How strong must this witch be that it created what truly appeared like an entire world?!
Welcome hero, Kupo!
A...talking familiar? Normally their movements are rather repetitious - that or they are attacking. She doesn't give it the chance to do or say anything further, leaping with a slash of her spear. The traumatized creature evades the attack, zipping away into the sky with a scream.
The next victim to cross the disoriented magical girl is not so lucky, the Hypello blinks once...twice.
Its hands held high in the air, the blue creature runs for all it's worth from the tip of the girl's weapon as she quickly makes headway. He's clearly not very equipped to run on land. "Oh No. Shomebody Shave me!"
11.
This blitzball, it was something else. The dome was impressive. For a while it was fun waiting for people to pass out, they just kept swimming like that it seemed like someone was sure to. Apparently they could hold their breath like zombies or something. She quickly grew bored though, and wandered into the thruway of the stadium -- all but abandoned when the actual games were taking place.
The enticing smell of the snack carts that quickly lured her over. She could feel her mouth water, leaning forwards to peek into the contents. Completely foreign. The proprietor was far too nice, the artificial kind. Why did they pretend to be all nice. It was food, people were going to buy food no matter what. "I'll take it all." He was laughing along with her joke, until she held out a bag she'd taken along, earning a gawk. Festivity foods were the best.

Quick to come between the helpless Hypello and Kyoko is Nozomi, the pink-haired girl throwing herself between the bladed weapon and helpless creature.
"They've done nothing wrong! There's no need to start attacking people!"
She was starting to miss her old powers - both her usual magical girl powers and those granted to her from the other worlds she'd been on, but right now, she couldn't let that hamper her!
1/13
At the words, she does come to a stop. Flashing a canine as she cocks her head to the side, sizing the young rescuer up - apparently deeming her no threat as she swings her arm behind her back so the lance rests sideways across it, "....Heh?" Had the girl hit her head? Was completely out of her mind? ...Under some spell? "People?"
Re: 1/13
Turning to Kyoko, Nozomi continued on. "My name's Nozomi Yumehara. I just got here, but I'm willing to help out any way I can and I want to help you, too!"
1/13
"Sakura, Kyoko. And I don't need your help."
She could figure it out on her own, like always. For starters, why her weapon was not responding properly, why her soul gem was in the shape of this strange Crystal, why her magic was drained...and,
Crimson eyes glance over the do gooder with open annoyance, "What the heck is this place?"
Re: 1/13
Oh, Nozomi!
1/13
Forgetting the name of the town she lived in? Really? Either the local had the mental status of a rock, or was much younger than Kyoko had initially realized. There's the faintest grimace, as the battle savy magical girl tries not to let herself feel bad about almost turning a perfectly innocent girl into a shish kabob.
The lance gets attached to a sheath across the girls back. Normally, she'd just will it away. It's not as if, the name of the world really mattered anyway. What good does the name of a place matter anyway? There's a temporary expression of complete confusion as she finds she can't transform out of her uniform...is she really -- just supposed to walk around like this?
She supposes, there are less strange things here...like creatures that are blue.
"There anywhere to get something to eat around here?"
Re: 1/13
"It's complicated. Let's go with sixteen right now. Besides, I just got here myself." Nozomi replied. The confusion and grimace on Kyoko's face did catch Nozomi's attention. "Of course there are places to eat around here. My Moogle and I can treat you if you like! I don't know if you want to be friends or not, especially since you just got here, but at the very least, let me help you, okay?"

So she was out again, with her moogle at her side, when she spotted the girl attacking the defenseless Hypello.
Terra didn't wait to find out what was happening. She cast blizzara between the pair creating a thick mass of ice which now held Kyoko's spear.
"What are you doing?" Her voice was calm and it sounded like she was curious, more than accusing.
1/13
Twirling, she slams the palm of one hand into the body of her lance, following up with a kick as close to the ice prison as possible at hilt of her beloved weapon. It breaks free as shards spew every which way.
Walking forwards, arm held out to the side with the weapon pointed out as though it were an extension of herself. Crimson eyes narrowed. Funny, normally she was the rude one. She does not bother offering up a reply since in her eyes Terra attacked first. A challenge.
The newly fledged Dragoon takes to the air, slicing down with her lance at the green haired girl with Jump.
1/13
Tempest, Terra’s moogle, flew between them with her hands on her hips. ”What do you think you are doing, kupo? Just attacking people in the city! It’s not very lady like and where is your moogle young lady!” Terra blinked for a few seconds before casting cure on her arm. She had never heard her moogle pull out that sort of tone and it’s obvious that Tempest might have taken care of children at one point or another.
Terra was still on guard but she was on the defensive. She prepped a shield spell or to grab Tempest by her scarf to pull the little fur ball out of the way should the girl choose to attack again.
1/13
When Tempest flies at her, the lance crosses in front of her, tip held out defensively. She's clearly expecting an attack. A physical one. Not the verbal berating that ensues. The redhead doesn't strike at the moogle, staying on the defensive, but offering a completely befuddled look.
Sentences. Those were definately full sentences. It still had that verbal kupo tick, but it was really talking! Not a mess of distorted sort of talking nonsense like that blue familiar!
Her expression switched from confusion to irritation quickly on a Gil, "Hey wait, she attacked me first! Don't come chiding to me about manners when you come at me in my face like that you flying rat! What's a moogle?!"
1/13
Tempest, for all her patience, gave the girl a mothers scolding look. "See? Kupo. It's all a misunderstanding because you started to attack people at random. Now put down your spear before we call the police, kupo and come have a cup of tea with us to chat. Tea was always Tempest's favorite thing to drink and after the stress of this meeting she'll need a cup.
Terra didn't really understand either but she didn't want to fight. Fighting, wasn't really something she was comfortable with but if Kyoko continued to attack those she saw as friends then she'd have no choice.
1/13
"Person? What the hell kind of a person was that?" At the demand from the winged companion, the red clad girl instead twirled the weapon one...two...three times in an antagonizing display before slamming the bottom back down on the ground, through the whole ordeal, Kyoko looks Tempest straight in the eyes.
Like she was going to listen to some floating marshmallow tell her what to do.
Only...tea...probably would also mean.
Food, right?
The lance finds its way into the clasps sideways across her back, one hand moving to hold the opposite arm.
"Alright, fine."
1/13
A smile pulled at Tempest’s lips as she turned back towards Terra. ”I will get tea and snacks started then. Can you guide her to the shop?” Terra nodded letting Tempest fly ahead of them and get things ready. She looked at Kyoko with a nervous smile.
“I’m sorry.” Mostly about the confusion but also for Tempest’s firmness, “The shop is this way.” She turned gesturing for the young girl to follow. It wasn’t far. Terra rarely travels far from her shop or her home. There were times when she’d take a walk around the park or just outside the city to collect flowers but that was the extent to Terra’s adventures.
“My name is Terra.”
If it works for you we can just handwave the explanation
An eyebrow rose at Terra's nervous smile. "You apologize too much." That would be the closest the redhead would come to saying it was fine. As for a sorry for her part in the confusion, that was the furthest thing from her mind.
The spear wielder fell in step as they headed towards the shop,
"Kyoko Sakura. Glad we didn't kill each other."
Yeah! That'd be awesome lol
"Me too." She didn't much care for fighting anyway.
Her feet whispered over the ground as she walked, her arms at her sides as they continue forward. It isn't a very long walk to the shop and as soon as they arrive the smells of hot tea, flowers and cookies surrounded them. Terra gestured towards the back of the store where a small garden table and chairs were set up. Tempest was already there floating around with tea and cookies for their guests.
"Have a seat, kupo."
Terra smiled at her friend. "Thank you Tempest."

Looking around at the flower filled garden, she bites a pronounced canine into her lip. Coming from Japan, the girl's idea of tea is a lot more subdued. Kyoko takes the indicated seat, shifting her spear so it leans against the chair. With all the bizarre inexplicable things that she just experienced -- she feels a bit like Alice in wonderland at the teaparty. Perhaps she's simply dreaming.
But then why is it so girly, ugh. She's so out of place.
Kyoko tries to avoid looking at Tempest -- especially since it would mean looking at those cookies. In the end she can't help it though, and is staring at the plate in the moogle's paw.

Terra had a weak spot for those younger than her as well though she full recognizes Kyoko as an adult. She had a look in her gaze that suggested that she was used to fighting. Thin fingers carefully pour tea, placing the steaming up in front of her guest. "I make tea here, so let me know if you like it."
Terra will continue to tell her some about Crystallis, saying things as they come to mind. Tempest chimes in a few times with information she felt that her hero left out. It wasn't everything but it was enough to get an idea of this world.

GULP "These are good!"
Glancing to the cup before her at Terra's comment, the redhead pulls herself away from the food. Lifting the porcelain up a bit awkwardly for a sip. "Um. It's nice." She doesn't sound insincere, just distracted. Her eyes are unabashedly still on those treats. Forcing a few more attempting to be polite muddled by impatience sips, before diving back into them.
And yet, when the explanation starts - she stopped eating. Half eaten cooking just lingering in the air, crumbs still on her face. The redhead just stared the whole time.
Her expression grows hard, she's furious. Though her anger doesn't seem to be directed at those before her, "What the hell?! You're telling me this place kidnaps people, on top of that- makes us weak! Then expects us to fight for them? Without even offering us anything in return? What kind of joke is that? Are we all like slaves then in gladiator pits? What fool would even be willing to fight for someone who did that to them?"
no subject
"Yes." Terra's grateful for the weakness, Crystallis is the only place where her powers might not lose control.
"I do know that the only way to find our way home is to defeat the Calamity." Though Terra wasn't convinced of that. She didn't like fighting and tried her best to stay out of things but the more she learned the more she doubted that they'd return.
no subject
No way home. What did it matter. Whole lot of nothing for her in both places. "You're not..." The same. Terra wasn't a magical girl, she should have noticed the lack of a soul gem ring when the green haired magic wielder had poured her tea. Those damn cookies. So much for finding someone who reached maturity. Or used her brain. Really who stayed transformed to have tea?
Weak, all over again? After having some of her magic taken away in the past and going off to die, fighting tooth and nail to survive. To be ripped down to the bottom again. Was this...more punishment?
No...surely it couldn't be that bad. Not again.
There's a shrug, as if the new arrival just rolled everything off her shoulders. "Doesn't matter. I'm not fighting for them, I only fight for myself. I don't care about getting back."
no subject
“I don’t want to go home either.”
She carefully placed down her cup looking at one of the flowers that had just begun to bud. “There isn’t anything for me there.” Deep down she felt as if that’s why she didn’t want to fight. She didn’t want to return to the world of her nightmares but she also didn’t want to force everyone else to stay here.
Terra feared what she was but in Crystallis she could be someone else.
no subject
Orphan of course, but also. No friends. Not many people would choose that. Maybe they just all bit it or, maybe Terra was like Mami. She averts her eyes almost as quickly as they rose to meet Terra's glance.
"Well." Suddenly chomping away faster, like a chocobo nervously chewing at the bit, the new arrival polishes off the last of the treats. "Just because you had nothing doesn't mean you could have never made something." Trying to be nice was really irritating.
"So. You ought to be really pissed about it." Better. Why though, why was she saying to be mad. When it's always easier if you can just not care.
Would everyone here have nothing? Did they fight their battles with the people no one would miss, if they did that...
Eh.
If they did that so what...
It was people's choice to put their neck on the line or not. At least no one's little sister would be crying. Maybe it was better to take the nothings.

"I don't think being angry will change things... it's only ever pushed people away." She remembered her other form and each distrustful look that was cast her way. "They'll see me as a monster..." The words slipped from her lips before she could stop them.
"..."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.." She hadn't meant to make things more awkward.
Terra looked down at the empty try of snacks. She was glad that Kyoko ate and she tried to remember if they had more. "Are you still hungry? We might have more."
