Talking good, protecting... Well, he's a dark knight; isn't it his Job to make sure summoner/black mage doesn't go squish? :P

He found a third option eventually, but wasn't able to really bond with her or the others much due to keeping up appearances so they....wouldn't be targeted again. So no, not at all okay.
