Bloom is one of the few people here that Ales genuinely likes. He's a bit unsure about joining the fight to protect Aqures Ixen, but he'll definitely listen to her!

Also, just the two of them hanging out would be nice.

Ales thinks she's kind of cool, and that goth getup is awesome. He secretly has a taste for the "dark and mysterious" aesthetic. I don't know if he cares about her enough to tell her to leave, but we can see about that.

...He thinks that bicycle is pretty awesome. Let him go on a tangent about how he could invent something that's inspired by the pedal mechanism.

This month IS a bit clustered with events. I'm starting to like larger threads less as despite everyone's intentions, they move so slowly and never finish.

But all of the above are more than welcome, obviously. I have no problems tagging with any of your characters any time! (Even if I do sometimes get a little lazy... and slack off on my days off.)

Even though Val totally sees Taz as an equal, I can also see a totally-not-romantic closeness between them. A sort of sisterly bond with the occasional spritz of Val being the flirt she is.

Canon: Fullmetal Alchemist Manga
Info: Olivier is a general back home, and she is the only shown female to make it that far in the military in canon. She is pround, very stubborn, and only backs down when she feels it is completely necessary.
Job(s): Dark Knight & Magitek Knight.
Housing: A-11
Moogle: Alexandria is quite different from the hero she works with. She is all about fashion and loves being the center of attention. Normally she dyes her fur purple and wears a bow on her head. This month she will be acting a bit discretely.
Status:Olivier helps train a few heroes here and there along with hunting monsters with some heroes, and generally makes herself part of big plans against the Empire when she can.
Employment: Olivier might seek employment with the flower shop for reasons, and perhaps will start a guild for weapons training.
Plans: The current plan with Olivier is help steal a submarine and airship from Nabila. The submarine is to be used to reach the Empire's prison to see if any of the enemy's enemies want to help them. The airship is to hopefully help turn the tides of the invasion this month. Due to this, she will be out of town until the invasion.
Desired CR: All the CR!
Undesired Things: Death or serious injury to be talked out prior to happening.
Shipping: Probably not. Any romance would have to be developed very naturally.
Additional Comment: Work is crazy until August, so tags may be slow.

I'd definitely be up for more with Ales. Lydia isn't fazed by unusual appearances either, as he found out. :) He can probably catch her around town before she leaves. :)

Oh she is more than happy to be his pen-pal/friend. It'll cause friction with Yuffie, but Lydia's also used to being the peacemaker. (Her view is staunchly "you guys don't have to be friends, but you are both myfriends" type of thing).

Lydia would be happy to be a support. She's entirely normal, and from a relatively normal life, so don't know how well she'd do, but she's friendly and fairly well adjusted all things considered. ^_^

Lydia is willing to leave. She is scared, and she knows it. So she'll help in ways other than fighting. I do think she's probably been trying to work with Yuffie on dodging/evasive maneuvers like she was with Kenshin before he went into stasis.

Definitely keeping that up after the whole battle and stuff too. Lydia'll take training from others, as there's a lot she wants to learn. I know Yuffie also wants her present before she goes, so Lydia'd make sure to get that to her before Lydia goes. :)

Vincent is happy to, as he's actually rather pleased to see the 'man' not the monster. Plus it's the least he can do for Lucrecia, as to keep an eye on her son. I'm more than happy to be part of the joint with Terra too.

Vincent doesn't want others to repeat his mistakes if possible. ^_^

I LOVED the test drive thread, no lies. :) I'd be happy to have more interactions between them, and might hit up the saloon after things. I've been truly pleased/surprised by how much Vincent IS getting CR/around. I'm like o.O? he's not even that social! ^-^

Vincent is absolutely big-bro/protective of Yuffie and he can be the adult-influence in good ways. He'd be slightly confused about the hair question, but he'll answer. :) Feel free to drag him into things and drag me in too.

(At least he cooks/keeps the house stocked, since no more free food with Tifa. He will be sad that she is crystally too.)

I'm definitely up for friendship with Terra and being advice-giver. I don't know that she's seen the 'evil' side, but she's def seen his inner monster-made-manifest. :)

If it's all very well with you I'd like very much to have had Ales left with Sephiroth's notes on the airship/reactor/power systems while he's had to drop out for Military duties...

Going forward, I'd like very much if Ales could keep Sephiroth in the loop with regard to anything he might discover? Only as the cross-over might mean that something similar to mako infusion isn't impossible in Crystallis and he'd like that very much!

Ok I feel obligated to point you towards the links in here if you're stuck only as quite a lot of people put a lot of ideas in there and some of it does fall into what you've said in the above for Ace! It might help, it might not!!

With regard to joining-the-military-as-it's-all-he-knows, welcome to Sephiroth's life. That said, one might argue it's paid off now that he's Major and commanding an army. I'd love maybe to have some CR in that general-similarity direction perhaps? I do intend to put a top-level on the NPC meeting post so hit me there if you like (or I'll hit you; idek who has posted there yet!)

At some point, Sephiroth and Ashe need to sit and he needs to be made talk about the Calamity.

Not only because he saw the aftermath of her vision in his own, but considering somewhere in Sephiroth's timeline there is the fact that he does eventually become the equivalent of the same in his own world - AND he knows it.

I think Genesis might have mentioned it to Ashe before as well? Now that Genesis isn't here it might encourage her to pick at him about it? IDK just throwing ideas out there...

Anywhere in particular that Sephiroth needs him? So far, he's tagging along with a bunch of other characters to fight off soldiers.

He'll be up in the sky for most of the vent, piloting an airship. They may run into each other during preparations.

He'll keep those notes guarded with his life! Sephiroth is an intelligent ally, and he'll do what it takes for the two of them to crack the code.

If all goes well, he'll try to steal an enemy airship and bring it back to investigate.

Info: An army colonel with background in (morally questionable) science. Tends to keep people at arm's length with politeness and sarcasm, but he's actually quite dependable when he's not being a complete troll.
Job(s): Jade has maxed out Black Mage and Dragoon, and additionally has Scholar, White Mage, Magitek Knight, Illusionist, Pirate, and Gambler.
Housing: B-14
Moogle: Rosepuff. Very affectionate and fussy, and absolutely convinced that, given enough love, Jade will show he's really a Nice Person inside. Jade disagrees with this.
Status: Initially Jade's interest in Crystallis came merely from necessity and academic interest. Since then, though, recent events have made the situation considerably more personal for him, which is why he's very invested in finding a way to stop the Calamity.
Employment: He's in Esdham military as a Captain.
Plans: Event-wise, Jade will be in the thick of battle. Depending on how that turns out, he may go see what Kalki is all about. As for long-term plans, he's hoping to get into Esdham army's science branch in order to better understand Magitek.
Desired CR: I'd really like to branch out to new CR! Acquaintances, comrades, people to troll, people to reluctantly mentor... Anything goes.
Undesired Things: None come to mind at the moment.
Shipping: Unlikely to happen, as Jade's slow to warm up and even then... not exactly romance material. It would have to develop naturally.

Canon: Final Fantasy VII
Info: The legendary SOLDIER 1st-Class, Sephiroth. Basically this sums up the character though at his recently now-updated canon point he was weighing up the possibility of breaking away from everything he had ever known after only finding out a little of what secrets Shinra held. He didn't know he was about to find out something that would pop the veritable cork from all the internal pressures he was keeping in, carrying on with - the truth of his own origins and regarding his Mother; Jenova.

Except, conveniently Crystallis thought to bring him back just before that fateful day. And remind him that he already knew those facts...and much more...

Job(s): Equipped: Warrior (MAX) & Scholar (8 Month) - refer to my info post for Reserves, considering now we're +3 month to Engineer/Programmer and he has the slots to spare as well.
Housing: B-04 - Tifa, Aerith and Alice (orz)
Moogle: Spencer. He's well known by now around mog and Hero-circles as the dedicated little moogle with the glasses that would probably die for his Hero! He's bookwormy, your typical-nerd-type moogle who thinks Sephiroth deserves a lot more credit than he gets from most people, and that his silver-haired Hero needs to hear it! He's in competition with Bonnie (Kidd's moogle) over who's Hero is the bestest, and talks quietly sometimes with Tempest (Terra's moogle) about those tell-tale signs of love feelings neither really understands too well.

Status: As explained above, Sephiroth very recently came back from a canon-updating/crystal stasis and prior to that he was slipping heavily into something very close to depression. Having learned some of his future through his doppelganger and then being hit with a then-not!memory which tied it all together (said memory ended up being his canon update-point) he was left heavily concerned about what his path should be/who he really is. Not to mention a little jarred at this vision. A lot of his CR have tried to get through to him that it was what he did here that mattered and in the days after returning from stasis he decided it best to try to follow that advise; he can only go forward from his current stepping-stone...even if he's more lost than he likes to admit.

Then he returned to Esdham, still unsure whether he would return to duty, and the news about the incoming war fleet hit. Ever the SOLDIER, all other thoughts were dashed to the side and he immediately returned to duty and applied for the promotion which has now put him effectively in-charge over the Esdham forces in Aqures Ixen for the event.

He hasn't had time to even discover that his once-best-friend Genesis has now crystallized as well; just like Angeal, and so leaving him alone again.

Employment: Major - Esdham Military Foreign Wing
Plans: Handy link to the OOC post for the Event with a lot of help from a lot of you this is essentially what Sephiroth will be doing in the upcoming event. Frustratingly, he's not really going to be in a position to fight himself unless dire situations call for it but hey-can't command from a front-position! (Which I silently hope there will be an opportunity to use his oh-so Calamity-like Limit Break where plenty of others can see it!)

As for whether he'll be visiting Kalki on the 3rd August, depends on the outcome of this battle. A true SOLDIER, if his tactics go south he probably won't be getting out of there alive - he will fight to the last.

Desired CR: Suggest things? There have been trainings-with-Rikku which he will do on the occasion that it comes about in the future; being a workaholic and now p much bogged down with duties. He's a harsh teacher though and would take a lot of convincing to train people at all - which of course means he needs to be persuaded! More than anything, considering he's lost the other of his once-best friends now, regardless of the outcome of the event Sephiroth is going to need some ego-boosting support soon - maybe not even that, maybe just someone needs to (maybe) literally backhand some sense into him and waking him up to how strong he is and that he has a responsibility to those less-strong to keep them safe. If only Angeal were here, haha

Undesired Things: I'd like to temper the amount of angst, right-now...otherwise I see him snapping and I burned out a bit before due to that no-idea-how-to-fix-this thing.

Shipping: Sephiroth is...maybe-almost falling for Terra, right now. If only he could figure ~that~ out where it's smothered by all of the other issues crowding in his head. At this point, he knows that he worries about her more than he does anyone else he's met in Crystallis but can't for the life of him figure out why? Last time he felt like this was towards a colleague when he was in his late-teens and it didn't end well...besides, he's grown-up and has more important responsibilities? Emotionally self-repressed, very much so.

Additional Comment: I live in London and work full-time with no net access at work...so sometimes tags will be slow but it's rare I'll keep you waiting more than a week! Always free to work out resolutions/directions beforehand and then backtag for as long as you like!

Just sayin' I quietly hope that this event puts to bed those doubts Jade had about his competence as finally they'll all get to see exactly what the fuss was about over Sephiroth back on his home world...

Don't forget too, we need to crack back onto the custom-jobs thread with the moogle once this is all over! o7
